The material

Designed in Switzerland, the Infinity Zirconia Plectrum embodies the harmony between modern design and pure material performance. Every contour is a study in precision — smooth lines, balanced proportions, and a profile engineered for both speed and control.

From the first sketch to the final polish, it was conceived to push the limits of what a plectrum can be. The form is not just beautiful — it’s functional sculpture, refined through countless ergonomic tests to sit naturally between the fingers, aligning with the hand’s movement rather than resisting it.

Each plectrum begins as zirconium oxide powder, pressed in a precision mold and then fired at over 2500 °C, where it transforms into a dense, near-indestructible ceramic. Once cooled, the surface is machined with industrial diamond tools — the only material hard enough to shape zirconia. The result is a perfectly symmetrical body with a flawless, mirror-like finish that feels as if it were carved from light itself.

The design speaks a distinctly Swiss language — clarity, minimalism, and exactitude — yet it also carries a sense of experimentation and daring. It’s not nostalgic; it’s forward-looking. A modern icon born from the intersection of craft, science, and sound.
